PLACES OF PROCESS
Investigates the journey of deconstruction and assembly, influenced by places of making such as studios and factories. The project grew from the belief that we must acknowledge and appreciate the time, effort, and materials that go into making objects around us.
I developed “buildable patterns” for spatial and interior environments alongside a collection of complimentary interior prints, by translating shapes and patterns from drawings to forms. My modular sets of textiles and wallpapers can assemble in various ways and invite the user to engage playfully with the objects on a deeper level. This creates more personal bond and increases its life cycle due to sentimentality and functionality.
